Description
Designed in conjunction with AEROCLASS and their senior aviation instructors, the Airline Management course recognizes the demand in today’s aviation community for professionals with sound business skills and a good understanding of the entire aviation system – from operational excellence to the commercial management of airlines and airports.
Objectives
Main goals:
- Gain insights into specific characteristics and challenges facing the aviation industry.
- Understand the key revenue and cost drivers of the business and economic models of airlines.
- Identify the different business models and their influence over decisions of fleet, network planning and sales marketing.
Specific goals:
- Understand the airline industry set up.
- Understand a range of economic issues, activities, and concepts relating to air travel, including the economic factors which influence and drive developments in the industry.
- To be equipped with the basic tools and techniques of economic analysis.
- Gain insight into an economist’s “perspective” or way of thinking.
- Describe opportunities and trends in the industry.
- Identify the sales trends that impact commercial airlines.
